Women- Women wore a white or brown linen garment with a tunic over it. They also wore mantles.
Men- Men wore a linen shirt with a tunic, and knee high breeches .
Both- Men and women used bone, or antler combs.

Popular foods and drinks- The thanes* would sometimes drink wine,but not frequently. A popular drink was mead, made from fermented honey. The people in England were very fond of meat but only the rich thanes* could afford to eat it frequently.
Cooking-The women cooked in iron cauldrons over open fires. They also made cheese and butter.
Utensils- the people in England ate from wooden bowls. They used wooden spoons, and metal knives but did not use forks.
